On January 30th, 2024, Pennsylvania new Governor Josh Shapiro announced the “Ten-Year Strategic Plan for Economic Development in Pennsylvania”, which can also be found on the recently established website, Pennsylvania Gets It Done.

As stated in the strategic plan, the Shapiro administration listed five key industries to be prioritized for development:

  4. Manufacturing
