2022年臺灣-賓州經貿與科技合作論壇昨（19日）圓滿落幕，為慶祝美國賓州今年3月恢復在臺設立貿易投資辦事處，貿易局、賓州經濟發展廳與駐紐約臺北經濟文化辦事處主辦，電電公會執行的「臺灣-賓州經貿與科技合作論壇」，雙方就先進製造與人工智慧關鍵科技產業，及臺灣智慧機械產業發展等進行交流。 經濟部國貿局江文若局長，開場致詞時恭賀賓州貿易投資辦事處三月復設，指出後疫情時代，製造業須靈活轉型自動化，因應產線變化。臺賓在人工智慧及機器人等領域已展開合作，望整合臺灣在機械、資通訊及電子研發的優勢，發展智慧機器人科技。 賓州州長Tom Wolf表示，費城的細胞及基因療法、匹茲堡的工業自動化與自駕車，先進製造為賓州關鍵產業。賓州企業正將創新技術轉為商業應用，改變人們工作、移動及治療疾病的方式。賓州對於成為許多台商投資發展好夥伴感到自豪，期待透過賓州駐台辦事處重啟，進一步強化台賓經貿關係。 駐紐約經文辦事處李光章大使表示，賓州此時恢復設處正是時機，台賓具廣泛的教育、經濟與科技合作機會。近年台灣與賓州西部的機器人、人工智慧、自駕車及物聯網，及東部的生技製藥已建立合作，未來必能更加深化關係。 電電公會李詩欽理事長指出，企業數位轉型刻不容緩，智慧製造產業更是首要關鍵，電電公會身為產業與政府的橋樑，將持續推動會員與賓州企業合作。 精彩論壇由賓州經濟發展廳副廳長David Briel拉開序幕，首先是賓州優勢產業與投資環境，臺賓有長久合作歷史，每年雙邊貨品貿易額均超過11億美元，疫情期間亦持續成長。近年在機器人、AI、自駕車及物聯網等領域密切合作。副廳長也感謝駐紐約經濟文化辦事處、經濟部等協力促成賓州恢復設處。憑藉台灣在機器人技術優異突出的實力以及匹茲堡世界一流大學和無與倫比的人才，雙方強強聯合將帶來研發與商業化的共同利益。 新任賓州駐臺辦事處葛禮仁處長表示，將力促臺賓雙方交流，今年已安排滿檔行程。本日論壇，就是雙方積極交流最佳證明。 賓州關鍵科技產業發展，由卡內基美隆大學國家機器人工程中心NREC主任Dr. Herman Herman，介紹AI搖籃發展史，建構匹茲堡機器人生態系。且與全球包括優秀的台灣企業緊密合作。看好機器人科技發展獲利前景，邀台灣與NREC共創機器人及AI未來榮景。 匹茲堡機器人協會（PRN）Joel Reed會長，詳細說明匹茲堡為全球機器人首都的投入，擁有頂尖產學研人才、研究機構、技術網絡，完善產業支援投資環境，吸引全球頂尖機器人與AI企業進駐，在各領域打造成功的商業應用，是台灣絕佳的投資環境及生意夥伴。 RE2機器人公司業務發展主任Travis Schneider，帶來機器人搖籃育成的成功案例介紹，於2001年的RE2，開發仿人機械臂解決方案為主要業務，為客戶提高操作效率、工人安全以及整體生產率。 廣運為全球領先自動化生產解決方案暨物流系統供應商，廣運機械專案經理廖惠敏，以及電電公會專案經理葉民菘，介紹了臺灣智慧機械產業發展應用。 現場與會來賓互動交流熱烈，對於投資賓州展現出興趣。賓州貿易投資辦事處期許未來臺賓雙方持續合作鏈結台美智慧製造生態系，強化台美供應鏈韌性，奠立雙方智慧製造業厚實的基礎。

On March 1st, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development's Office of International Business Development announced the expansion of its network of Authorized Trade Representative offices to include a new contract in Taiwan with Anemone Ventures.
