On May 9th, 2023, Pennsylvania’s Trade and Investment Office in Taiwan attended an educational exchange meeting between the Ministry of Education (MOE) and fellow members of the American States Offices Association (ASOA).
During this meeting, the MOE introduced its Taiwan Huayu BEST Program for facilitating university-to-university teacher exchange for Mandarin Chinese education and the establishment of Mandarin teaching centers.
Programs and incentives for K-12 US-Taiwan school partnerships as well as the exchange of English instructors to Taiwanese institutions were also discussed at length.
The MOE is in close coordination with the Pennsylvania Taiwan Office and other ASOA state offices to promote these bilateral exchange initiatives and deepen cross-border academic relations with the US.
Our office strives to continually provide these enriching exchange opportunities to Pennsylvania and promote the state’s legacy in quality education.
